Shopper, 21, 'threw an umbrella at woman' breaking her own fingers

A shopper threw an umbrella at a woman and twisted her fingers until they broke during a row at Harvey Nichols, a court heard.

Abigail Cameron, 21, allegedly called Sammy Capone a ‘miserable b****’ and assaulted her at the world famous store in Knightsbridge in October last year.

Cameron appeared at Westminster Magistrates Court today wearing a white shirt, white checked waistcoat and black trousers.

Sudara Weerasena, prosecuting, earlier explained that the pair were both shopping at the store when Cameron called Ms Capone a ‘miserable b****’.

She denies assault causing actual bodily harm but the trial was put off until September 28 after she asked for an adjournment because she was unrepresented.

‘She then threw an umbrella in the direction of the victim’s face.

‘She then twists her fingers to the point where fractures were caused.’
